  6.    This disc has a 60 day warranty against physical defects.  Any warranty
  7.    returns will be honored only on those discs that have been registered
  8.    with us.

  10.    We have checked this disc as thoroughly as possible for any problem files
  11.    or defects.  However, we do not guarantee the usability for any particular
  12.    purpose of any program or data on this disc, nor do we guarantee that it
  13.    will even work on your computer.  It ran on ours and on every machine that
  14.    we tried it out on, but who knows what kind of strange bird you have there?
  15.    <Smile!>  If it doesn't work for you, your only recourse is to take it back
  16.    to the vendor that sold you the disc, and get a refund or an exchange, if
  17.    the vendor that sold you the disc does that.  If they don't, it's time to
  18.    find a new vendor, eh?  <smile!>

  26.    desire, but please wait until your 60 day warranty has expired... <smile!>

  29.    need to follow their directions regarding registration.  By purchasing this
  30.    disc, you have NOT purchased the programs on it.  They are still owned by
  31.    their respective authors.

  34.    and you are using this disc on your BBS, you are obligated to remove the
  35.    file(s) from the text listings used on your BBS, so that your callers
  36.    cannot get to the illegal file(s) in question.

  39.    improper use, proper use, or inability to use anything on this disc.

  42.    programs that are on it, but for the original work being distributed

  46.    Every file on this disc has been scanned at LEAST twice times by
  47.    different anti-virus programs, checked for CRC corruption, has had
  48.    known objectionable filenames (such as those R&E ads) removed.  However,
  49.    it's impossible to say that EVERYTHING was taken care of, because new
  50.    virii strains are being developed all the time, and Trojan horse
  51.    programs are virtually impossible to detect.  Because of this, the end
  52.    user is responsible for checking out a program or dataset prior to
  53.    its use.  Even if it works properly, it might cause unforeseen results
  54.    on _your_ machine, so be alert.
